# Payment methods and availability

These are the method codes recognized by the gateway. Availability depends on the merchant, currency, and payin/payout direction. Query the endpoint below and check `currency`, `type`, `pay_method`, and `status`. Order creation also depends on merchant rates, channel status, and amount limits.

For crypto orders, send `pay_method=CRYPTO` and provide `network` as specified by the create endpoint. `TRC20` and `ERC20` are network values, not payment method codes. `COMMON` represents other channel methods. Check the API result for availability.

### Query configured merchant methods

`POST https://gateway.pay247.io/gateway/payin/methods`. The JSON request requires `mch_id`, `timestamp`, `version`, `uuid`, and `sign`. `timestamp` must be an integer. See [Signature](/api-reference/en/sign). The response contains both payin and payout configurations; use `type` to distinguish them.

A successful response returns `data.pay_methods` as an array. Each entry has `currency`, `pay_method`, `type` (`payin`/`payout`), `status` (`ON`/`OFF`), `tips`, `min`, `max` and `required`.

| `pay_method`             | string           | Method code to use when creating an order            |
| `type`                   | string           | `payin` or `payout`                                  |
| `status`                 | string           | Current method status: `ON` or `OFF`                 |
| `tips`                   | string           | Availability message; may be empty                   |
| `min`                    | number or string | Minimum amount for the current channel               |
| `max`                    | number or string | Maximum amount for the current channel               |
| `required`               | array            | Additional fields recommended by the current channel |
